Courtland Truck Works

Courtland Truck Works was founded on May 1, 1996 in a small town in the Sacramento Delta area in central California. The company was founded on the belief that the legacy of the Peterbilt truck needed to be saved. As many truck makes and models come and go over time, the one symbol of strength and class is the classic and unmistakable look of a Peterbilt truck. As the founder of Peterbilt intended, the trucks would endure the coarse of time.

Al Peterman wanted to build a rugged truck that could handle the toughest jobs but do it with a “touch of class”. We at Courtland truck Works feel that he created the best all time classic commercial truck. We have made it our mission to preserve the legacy of the Peterbilt truck by saving as many specimens as space permits as well as a restore trucks and reproduce the parts to accomplish this endeavor.

Since 1996

To date we have saved over 100 old Petes from rusting to pieces or being sent to a recycling facility. We also have been able to reproduce in house almost all of the cab and hood panels from the 1940’s through the 1970’s. As well, we have produced many rubber and hardware parts needed to restore an old Pete. In short, our need for parts to do in house restorations has led us into the reproduction parts business.
